此件玉坠采用和阗白玉籽料整雕而成，造型圆润，留有大面积洒金红皮，色泽浓艳。正面去皮雕琢一只青蛙趴伏于莲叶之上。青蛙尖首丰体，莲叶舒展，细节刻画精到。背面雕琢三片巨大的荷叶，将整件玉坠包裹起来，中间内挖雕莲枝。整件作品不惜费料，将青蛙伏莲表现得生动形象。青蛙及莲叶的组合在清代寓意“一品清廉”，代表为官清正廉洁，为人刚正不阿。
