Hence by descent. --------------- SITZENDER BUDDHA. Thailand, 18. Jh. H 32 cm. Bronze, Gold- über Schwarzlack, die Basis in Rotlack. Im Meditationssitz (padmasana) weilender Buddha mit feinem Gesicht und sanftem Ausdruck. Seine Hände vollführen die Geste der Erdberührung (bhumisparsa-Mudra). Schön berieben. Provenienz: Sammlung Klaus Clausmeyer (1887–1968).
