龟形印钮，龟身以四足撑起，首微上抬，似欲爬行。此类形态的龟钮在汉代时期极为流行。上古时代，龟能通神，认为龟具有预知凶吉的神秘能力，因此以龟甲来祭祀或占卜。 龟钮印所见实物，则以铜者为多，玉制者极稀，此印又是玉龟钮印中至为精美的一方。此印白玉通体白色，略及沁色；玉色润泽细腻，光莹而不暴露，材质与制作俱佳，是玉印中的至精至美之物。宋元时期玉器风格。玉质光泽温润，古代有称其为“白如美人睛”；整体光亮莹润，托于掌中，似有丝丝凉意沁入，令人爱不释手。
