A beautiful bronze Buddha figure from Thailand, ca. 14th - 15th century. This superb Sukhothai period figurine is 8-1/2 inches high and depicts Buddha with a slight smile, broad shoulders and an oval face. His finely curled hair is topped a flame-shaped aureole and he is seated on a three-legged base. Much of the beautiful thin gold layer remains. In excellent condition, with strong mineral deposits.
