說明 朱茂生-江西景德鎮陶瓷塑像名家，也是晚清是宮廷造陶瓷造像大師。生-晚清/卒-民國早期。印記：朱茂記造、茂記生造。朱茂生早年在禦窯廠從事瓷器生產，民國時期，禦窯廠解散後，開辦作坊，以生產瓷器塑像為主，多做佛像，亦做其他吉祥動物，尤以錦雞價高，多被官宦人家作送大人物、做人情之禮物。錦雞立於石頭上，寓意：室上大吉。石—室，雞—吉。本拍品，錦雞極為寫實、生動，雞首平視，喙短，尖、頸、身羽毛層層覆著，胸挺收翅，尾長而翹收束，兩足四趾，占石而立之。
