A group of six Chinese green-ground Zisha teapots dating from the 19th century. The group includes: a glazed teapot with an inscription and many seals on its exterior, a flat lid with a 4-character mark, and double metal handles. A glazed teapot with calligraphy and seals on one side and an inscription and landscape to the other, a flat lid, double metal handles, and a 4-character mark on the bottom. A glazed teapot with a conical lid featuring two landscape scenes and a 3-character mark. A painted, square teapot with floral, bamboo, and crane landscape scenes. And finally, a pair of glazed, round teapots with figural scenes and 4-character marks on the bottoms. Dimensions are: the largest teapot with the conical lid measures 6 3/4 inches tall X 7 1/4 inches wide, 17.1 cm X 18.4 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The teapot with the inscription and many seals has severe repairs and overpainting throughout. The teapot with the inscription and landscape has significant repairs throughout and glaze chipping to the lid. The teapot with the conical lid is in overall good condition.
