A pair of Chinese famille rose boxes dating from the Republic period. Each box is decorated with flowering branches and insects on its sides and top. Each has a 4-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 1 3/4 inches tall X 3 3/8 inches wide, 4.4 cm X 8.6 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: One box has a small chip.
