A Chinese famille rose vase with blue, pink, and yellow chrysanthemums and a blossoming branch dating from the Republic period. There are several insects opposite the flowers on the vase. The foot features floral and vine tracery. There is a 7-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 16 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 40.6 cm X 19.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The bottom has been drilled through and there are three firing cracks to the base, but it is in overall good condition. Provenance: From a private Boston, Massachusetts collection.
