A pair of Chinese white-ground famille rose vases dating from the Republic period. The bodies feature women and lotuses on an incised linear ground. The interior and bottom of the vases are glazed turquoise, and the bottom features a 6-character mark. Dimensions are: 10 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 25.4 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are possible repairs to hairlines on both. Provenance: From Mr. Kennedy in Louisville, Kentucky. Family heirloom.
