A Chinese famille rose tianqiu vase dating from the 19th century. The vase depicts three farmers in a landscape with a pine tree witnessing a vision of a woman in a room. The mouth of the vase has a band of ruyi. There is a 6-character mark on the bottom of the vase. Dimensions are: 16 1/2 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide, 41.9 cm X 24.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are some abrasions to the lower body and to the bottom, but it is in overall good condition. Provenance: From a private New York City collection.
