A Chinese famille rose basin dating from the 19th century. The exterior has a white ground with three red bamboo motifs. The rim features famille rose lotus tracery with bats. The interior walls features floral scenes with bats. The base of the interior depicts scholar's items. Dimensions are: 5 inches tall X 15 inches wide, 12.7 cm X 38.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is some glaze chipping and several very minor areas of overpainting to the rim, but it is in overall good condition.
