A Chinese quatrefoil famille rose brush pot with a 6-character mark of Xianfeng and of the period. The brush pot features two scenes of a man and a child in a landscape and two scenes of lotuses. It has four ruyi-shaped feet. Dimensions are: 3 1/8 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 7.9 cm X 5.7 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is damage to the bottom of the feet.
