A Chinese black-glazed porcelain incense burner dating from the 19th century. The censer resembles a ding with a round body, three feet, and two vertical handles. The glaze is black with speckles of gray. Dimensions are: 5 inches tall X 4 3/4 inches wide, 12.7 cm X 12.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a chip to one foot and a repair to one handle. Provenance: From a private Connecticut collection, originally purchased from Oakridge Auction Gallery.
