A Chinese blue and white hu vase with a 6-character mark of Qianlong and of the period. The body is decorated with lotus tracery framed by bands of ruyi, leaves, and vine tracery. Dimensions are: 12 1/2 inches tall X 9 1/4 inches wide, 31.8 cm X 23.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are two repairs to the rim. Provenance: From Mr. Brow in Honolulu, Hawaii. The lot is an heirloom that has been in the family for over 40 years. A similar example was sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong on November 28, 2019, as lot 74.
