A Chinese mottled sancai vase with double dragon handles dating from the Tang dynasty. Dimensions are: 15 1/4 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 38.7 cm X 19.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There are multiple chips to the dragons, as well as one crack to each handle. Provenance: From a private Georgia collection. The Metropolitan Museum of New York has in its collection two sancai-glazed amphoras, accession number 65.82.1 and 1984.483.3.
