A Chinese jadeite necklace dating from the Republic period. It has graduated, spherical jadeite beads and a 14K clasp. Dimensions are: 20 1/2 inches long X 3/8 inches wide, 52.1 cm X 1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a possible repair to one bead. Provenance: From Mrs. Hillebrand in Chicago, Illinois. Her father-in-law purchased these items in China and Hong Kong between 1935 and 1970. This lot is part of Mrs. Hillebrand's sixth consignment with Oakridge Auction Gallery.
