A Chinese enamelled hand mirror dating from the Republic period with a box. The reverse is inlaid with 12 small jadeite plaques of bats, a white jade plaque incised with a flower, and a jade hairpin on the handle. The handle is stamped "silver." Dimensions are: 9 1/2 inches tall X 5 3/8 inches wide, 24.13 cm X 13.65 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From a private New York City collection.
