A Chinese spinach jade boulder carved with landscapes scenes dating from the 18th century. The mountain landscapes feature a deer, a crane, pine trees, and lingzhi. It comes with an original invoice. Dimensions are: 5 1/2 inches tall X 7 1/2 inches wide, 14 cm X 19.1 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is scattering chipping and some breakage to the front. Provenance: From a private collection in Lorton, Virginia. The collector has been restoring antiques for over 50 years in the Washington, D.C. area. The Metropolitan Museum of New York has in its collection a similar piece dating from the 18th century, accession number 02.18.684 .
