A Chinese deep pink Peking glass vase with a long neck and a 4-character mark of Qianlong and of the period. Dimensions are: 10 1/2 inches tall X 5 1/2 inches wide, 26.7 cm X 14 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is an area of breakage and a chip to the foot. Provenance: From Mrs. Chang in San Diego, California, who brought it from Hong Kong prior to the early 1990s. A similar, white glass vase dating from the same period is housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City under accession number 91.1.1194 .
