A set of six Fabergegold and white guilloché enamel buttons, Eduard Kortman, St. Petersburg, 1904-1908, with scratched inventory number 6162. The circular buttons enameled translucent over a radiating engine-turned ground, the back fixed with small loops, contained in original silk- and velvet-lined fitted box contained in their original Fabergefitted holly wood box. Struck with master's initials and 56 standard. Diameter: 1/2 in. (1.3 cm) each.St. Petersburg jeweler Eduard Ivanonovich Kortman produced jeweled awards for the Imperial court and was a supplier to Fabergé.
