After Sebastiano del Piombo (Italian, 1485-1547). "Portrait of a Woman" -probably Grand Tour late 18th/19th, oil on canvas. Apparently unsigned, inscribed "1512"; elaborate carved giltwood frame copied from the original. Note: The plaque identifies the painting as a copy of "Laura" by Titian. This perhaps comes from many different attributions applied to the painting since the 16th century. Today it is in the collection of the Uffizi which attributes in to del Piombo from the year 1512.
