Set of six walnut side chairs in the Louis XV taste, having shaped backs brown upholstered leather back rests and seats with brass nailhead trim, tartan fabric to the backs, and rising on front cabriole legs with scrolled feet. Upholstered and unable to look for stamp to frame. Provenance: A receipt from Maison Alfred Wimpren, Paris, France, dated April 30, 1948 will accompany this lot.
