A group of Presidential signatures including typed letters signed, signed notes, a signed photograph and signed first day of issue covers, dating from 1949 to 1998. Includes: Dwight D. Eisenhower Typed Letter Signed. One page, 5.75" x 7.75", New York City, New York; June 30, 1949. Addressed to Edmund Sullivan. It reads in part: "...If the apparent trend toward Bureaucratic control is to be reversed, it is going to take the unremitting effort of a lot of people..." Signed, "Dwight D. Eisenhower." With original transmittal cover. Lyndon B. Johnson Annotated Typed Letter Signed. One page, 6" x 7", Washington, D.C.; August 9, 1955. Addressed to Mrs. Sarah McClendon on United States Senate stationery. He thanks her for her note and writes that he'll pray for her. Signed, "Lyndon." Lyndon B. Johnson Typed Letter Signed.
