A KASHAN PRAYER RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA, The shadded red field with flowering vase and birds, flanked by single column supproting light blue floral mihrab and hunging pendant in an indigo border of palmette and leafy vine between floral and plain stripes. Approx. 6ft 1in x 4ft 3in(185cm x 130cm) Well drawn design with well balanced colors. This rug has localised wear down to knot collar in places, one or two very small splits on the field. One end with slight loss to guard stripe secured. Salavages rebound. In overall faire usable condition.
