He is also referred to as man-lion. Here seated on a lotus throne attached to a square platform. One foot is drawn to his body while the other leg is pendent. Dressed in a short cloth and the chest decorated with beaded chains crossing the chest, armlets and bracelets. The deity has four arms held like Vishnu with two hands forming the varada and abhaya mudra and two hands raised holding the sudarshana chakra and the shankha. The face is that of a lion with mouth agap, wearing a conical crown with diamond finial. The back of the statue is crafted with the same detail of decorative elements.
