题识：顽石点头。己丑观音诞，丰子恺画。|钤印：「丰子恺沐手敬缋」、「缘缘堂画缘」、「丰子恺年五十以后作」|注：丰子恺，浙江省嘉兴人。原名丰润，又名仁、仍，号子觊，后改为子恺，中国现代画家、散文家、美术教育家、音乐教育家、漫画家、书法家和翻译家。||按语：顽石点头典出于《莲社高贤传》：“竺道生入虎丘山，聚石为徒，讲《涅盘经》，群石皆点头。”形容对人耐心教育，道理讲得透彻，使人不得不心服。
