|说明：此笔筒圆口直筒，浅圈足。通体以沉香木制成，色泽深邃，略带幽香。口沿处饰回纹，外侧则以错铜丝为枝蔓，其间嵌螺钿作葫芦、荸荠、菱角、蟠桃等各种花果，色泽亮丽，宝光四溢。筒壁精雕细刻出海水纹，波涛汹涌，翻滚的浪花中现出赑屃、螭吻、蒲牢、蚣蝮、睚眦、椒图、负屃、螭龙等神兽，俱为神话传说中由龙所生，形态各异，姿势不同，在表现出极高的艺术美的同时，也内含祥瑞寓意。|此品造型经典大方，雕工精巧细致、工整规范，口沿处的百宝嵌则是玲珑缤纷、光彩照人，为整体偏深沉色调的笔筒增添了无限的活力，成为一件美不胜收的上佳之作。||参阅： 《故宫博物院藏文物珍品全集 竹木牙角雕刻》P54，No.50
