The body of late 17th century hammerhead proportions, with three incised rings around the waist, and one around the foot, the collar with a further two rings and unusually with three on the inside, a typical bud thumbpiece and handle with cylindrical strut, the flat lid with an unusual small pip (or beak) at the front and with unusual incised rings at the edge both on the upper and lower surfaces, additionally under the lid a locating flange with a North of England profile, ownership Triad 'W G A' on lid, capacity 16.5 fl.oz. height 16.7cm (6⅝in)
