18th century The first painted in underglaze blue with a diamond diaper band and pomegranate roundel on the deep curving well and flower-filled reserved of lotus petal shape on the exterior walls (chips and metal mount to rim); the second painted in overglaze enamels of the famille rose palette with flowering branches across the floor of the well and further floral motifs incorporated in the decorative bands on both sides of the brown-washed rim (hairline crack). 7 5/8 and 9 3/8in (19.3 and 24cm) diameter (2).
