四方形式，紫泥为胎，外粉泥浆，规整大度。直口宽沿，平底承犴门，底中开一圆孔。盆身四面分别刻绘文竹、诗文、花卉。造型敦厚，图文并茂。任淦庭（1888.8-1969.12）又名干庭，字缶硕 ，号漱石、石溪、聋人、大聋、左民、左腕道人。江苏宜兴人，陶刻大家。在家排行老三，长兄淦坤，精于刻纸，二哥不幸早逝，四弟淦儒，是专工花鸟人物。谭耀坤,宜兴紫砂著名老艺人。
