A Chinese famille rose lidded jar dating from the 19th century. The turquoise-ground jar features a lotus pond scene with a crane. The lid features a lotus. Dimensions are: 10 inches tall X 8 1/4 inches wide, 25.4 cm X 21 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is light chipping to the rim of the lid and glaze chipping to the top. There is a star crack to the body of the vase, firing cracks to the bird and leaves, and abrasions around the mouth.
