A large early 20th century Indian Colonial silver photograph frame, Calcutta circa 1915 by Hamilton and Co Of plain rectangular form, with a wooden easel back, Glazed. Marked to the side SILVER and H&Co only. Height – 33.2 cm / 13.05 inches Width – 16.9 cm / 10.6 inches Aperture – 29.5 x 23 cm / 11.5 x 9 inches Unusually this frame lacks the elephant mark normally found on Hamilton and Co items, as it also lacks the capital A it can be dated to 1914-36.
