A Victorian sterling silver ‘castle top’ card case, Birmingham 1868 by Frederick Marson Of shaped rectangular form, with scroll edging. The font with an embossed depiction of the Scott Monument, against a textured ground with a townscape scene, with foliate scrolls. The reverse with a C scroll cartouche engraved with initials MMCJ in cursive script, all against foliate scrolls, flower heads and C scrolls. Fully marked to base bezel.
