清代对摹仿西洋色釉亦不遗余力，本品即为探究西洋色釉之见证，堪称光绪御瓷胭脂红釉之代表。其俊秀怡人，胎体轻薄，品质卓群。外壁通施胭脂红釉，厚润匀净，色若绛霞，美如宝石。胭脂红创烧于清康熙末年，为珐琅彩料之一，以金作着色剂、在炉内经800℃左右烘烧而成的低温红釉。先前是从欧洲转入，故被称为“洋金红”或“西洋红”由于烧制不易，应用不广，是一种名贵的釉色 备注：国营文物店旧藏Lot1900-Lot1905为同一藏家收藏
