A Chinese bronze incense burner inlaid with silver wire dating from the 18th century. The round tripod incense burner has two vertical handles and features dragons chasing flaming pearls among ruyi clouds. There is a 4-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 5 1/2 inches tall X 9 1/2 inches wide, 14 cm X 24.1 cm. Weight: 4850 grams. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here Condition: There is minor use wear, but it is in overall good condition. Provenance: From Mr. Molitor in the Washington, D.C. area. A family heirloom. Reference: A similar bronze censer inlaid with silver wire, but only around the mouth and with prominent handles, sold at Christie's Hong Kong on November 26, 2019, as lot 2818.
