A Chinese wucai porcelain bell topped by a double-headed dragon finial dating from the Qing dynasty. The body depicts nine dragons against a wave ground with a Greek key band on the shoulder. Dimensions are: 7 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 17.8 cm X 10.2 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here Condition: The Greek key border shows signs of wear. There are numerous glaze chips to one of the dragons. Provenance: From Dr. Lobelson in San Diego, California. Dr. Lobelson is a retired physician and has been collecting for over 50 years. These items were acquired over 30 years ago.
