A Chinese porcelain seated Buddha dating from the 18/19th Century by Zeng Longsheng. The Buddha wears a turquoise-ground glazed robe speckled with blue and pink glaze. He sits in dhyaanasana with both hands holding a gold-painted pagoda, possibly signaling his identity as Bhaisajyaguru or Medicine Buddha. The Buddha's skin is also gold-painted, and his hair and bun are painted blue. There is a 4-character mark on the bottom. Dimensions are: 12 1/2 inches tall X 10 1/2 inches wide, 31.8 cm X 26.7 cm.
