A pair of Imperial Chinese famille rose plates with a 6-character Daoguang mark and of the period. Each features 3 floral motifs to the exterior and a Shou medallion with 5 bats to the interior. Dimensions are: 1 3/4 inches tall X 7 inches wide, 4.4 cm X 17.8 cm. All measurements are approximate. High resolution images can be found here Condition: One plate has abrasions to the exterior, but both are in overall good condition. Provenance: From the estate of a surgeon in the Washington, D.C. area. The items were acquired from various auction houses including Christie's and Sotheby's prior to the 1990s.
