西周 銅瓦楞紋獸頭提梁壺 Western Zhou Dynasty period. Of elongate form, the vessel body with corrugated pattern, the neck and cover with similar mythical bird mask reserved on key-fret ground, flanked by pair of loops attached to mythical beast head handle. 卣，盛酒之禮器，盛行於商晚期至西周中期，西周晚期以後鮮見。此卣帶蓋，子母口，微鼓腹，圈足外撇。蓋頂有圈形捉手，肩部兩側鑄環扣，連鑄提梁，提梁二端口作獸首，獸面雙角高凸，華麗莊重給人以美感。腹部部飾“夔龍紋”“弦紋”等，分布均勻，布局獨具匠心，生動逼真，立體感十足。銅質呈墨色，間发綠銹，間以棕紅銹，古意穆然。來源：紐約重要私人收藏
