A LOUIS XVI STYLE ORMOLU MOUNTED MAHOGANY PEDESTAL DESK, 20TH CENTURY, the rectangular top with inset gilt tooled leather writing surface within conforming panel frame and bronze molded trim, above a single long drawer with vitruvian scroll cast mounts centering a bronze lined keyhole and enclosed by leaf tip encadrements, flanked by fleur d'asperges inset fluted panels centering two deep short drawers with laurel wreath escutcheons and lion masks suspending foliate detailed swag handles enclosed by leaf tip encadrements, over two matching short drawers within side bow ribbon tied floral pendants above press reeded panels, opposite desk front with matching sham drawers and bronze decorations, raised on short tapering square form legs with laurel wreath and foliage bronzes ending before acanthine cast bulbous feet, includes one key.
