CHRISTOPHER FINCH (British 20th Century) A DRAWING, "Untitled," 1998, mixed media on Arches Aquarelle paper, signed and dated in image in pencil L/R. 23 3/4" x 38 1/2" Note: Christopher Finch is most notable for his writings about the British Pop art movement, a cornerstone of David Brauer's collection and research. Finch also served as associate curator at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and later in the mid-seventies, he began a series of books on popular culture that included the best-sellers The Art of Walt Disney, Rainbow: the Stormy Life of Judy Garland, and Norman Rockwell's America, followed by Of Muppets & Men, Jim Henson: the Works, and Special Effects: the Making of Movie Magic.
