吕焕成 (1630-1705) 为清代初年"吴门画派"的代表人物之一，字吉文，号祉园山人，浙江余姚人。吕焕成擅长画人物、山水，兼画花卉。早年好作斧劈皴，风格奇古，与他的传世作品《春山听阮图》(现藏旅顺博物馆)、《西溪图》(上海博物馆)的画法相类似，勾皴挺拔秀劲，人物生动细劲，意境幽深，既有"北宗"画法的崇高峻美，也有"南宗"画法的秀润笔致。
