此碗形似斗笠，敞口斜壁内收，鸡心底，小圈足。因形似斗笠，故名“斗笠碗”，通体光素无纹，施龙泉青釉，釉色纯正、肥厚，玻璃感极强。底足足脊露胎，可见明显火石红。龙泉素以烧青瓷闻名于世，其青釉色郁者如青葱鲜亮，浅淡者如雨后青天，其温润恬淡的色泽难以笔墨形容一二.
