Epee fencer, probably South Germany 1st H. 17th century, limewood fully sculptured carved, on oval base standing man with ruff, leather collar and knee protection in fencing position with right leg in front, the right hand extended, the left raised, epee handle in the right hand still present, fine carving, perhaps model for bronze casting, bumped, h. 22.5 cm, w. 16 cm
