A rich history of opinions on everything from women to parliament and industry to the common man in 7 vols. Original 18th century full tree calf, smooth backs, formed spines by gilt roll tooled horizontal fillets, in gilt lettering on red in the second, gilt volume numbers in the third, with gilt roll tooled edges. Condition: wear commensurate with age, joints cracked but holding well. Sheets mostly clean but with some foxing & spotting.
