c. 300 BC. Greek Attic. Terracotta skypos, with deep, curved sides, ring foot and two equally spaced loop handles. The whole of the vessel is covered in a black slip typical of Attic ceramics. This beautiful piece would have been used for wine drinking, usually during social occasions or banquets.
