A beautiful restrung faience necklace comprising multi-coloured discoid and tubular beads as well as a beautiful fly amulet probably meant to invoke the goddess Uatchit. Uatchit is the goddess of marshes and the sun's heat and was worshiped primarily in Lower Egypt. Good condition. Wearable; Size: L:263mm / W:mm ; 5.1g; Provenance: Property of a London gallery, previously in old British collection formed in the 1980s.
