900-1100 AD. Viking age. A large silver pendant comprised of a rectangular plate with a rounded loop and circular wire suspender. The plate is divided into two rectangular fields by a double row of punched dot decoration and within in each rectangle is an X formed from five further dots. Each corner of the plate bears a larger perforation, threaded with a silver wire loop.
