Ca. 100-300 AD. Roman. A restrung necklace of Roman beads comprising multiple opaque and transparent sub- spherical, tubular and rectangular glass and stone beads. This necklace features beautiful miniature melon beads as well as three sem-sculptural beads shaped like pomegranates. Beads were an important part of Roman women's dress.
