China, Guangzhou, Qing Dynasty, 19th century
Stretched baluster shape. The shoulder has two handles spat out by dragons from which are suspended movable rings. Bas-relief decoration of palace scenes with multiple characters in medallions left in reserve against a background of floral scrolls. Joined base (minor chips and lacks, the base pierced at the back and fitted with a screw).
H (base included): 30.5 cm - H (without base): 27.5 cm - W: 7.5 cm - D: 6 cm
Approximate total weight: 880 grams
Note: It should be noted that the lid is topped by a skit in an almost rounded shape showing Taoist immortals in a landscape of pines and rocks.
